It is called a "Will Party" and it allows you to achieve your estate planning goals while providing a schedule-sensitive, informal, comfortable, and affordable way to do so!

So... how does it work?

A party "host" finds other like-minded friends who don't have a basic estate plan (wills, powers of attorney, health care directives). The host sets a date to hold a gathering and brings estate planning attorney Ben Dollins to you. It is the perfect opportunity for you and your friends to have fun and save money while accomplishing an important goal.

The Will Party process goes as follows:

1. The host chooses a date and sends out invitations.
2. Party #1: Ben will lead an informal discussion on estate planning followed by an opportunity for attendees to ask their "will" questions. Attendees are given two documents, an estate planning questionnaire and a retainer agreement, to complete and return to him.
3. Once Ben has received the documents, he will write a first draft of each attendee's estate plan. He will send it to each attendee to review the plan for accuracy. Ben will then make any necessary adjustments/changes.
4. Party #2: Ben will bring all estate plans to the host's house and each attendee will sign their estate planning documents, in the presence of their friends as witnesses, and celebrate their accomplishment!

So... how much does it cost?

All attendees will receive a discount based upon the number of estate plans completed for the party. The more estate plans, the less the legal fee! In addition, party hosts are eligible to receive a discount above and beyond other attendees.
